BLACKOUT

"As our train reached the middle of the bridge, it suddenly went dark and came to a halt. What made matters worse was that one of the other passengers mentioned seeing a brightly lit, now pitch-black cruise liner in the distance, slowly approaching. With the dark silhouette growing bigger with each passing second, we realized that we had to hurry. After someone decided to smash one of the windows to get us out, we started running as fast as we could. While we were trying to escape the impending doom, I noticed a young girl bleeding. Her diabetes tab had fallen off, and one of the passengers, ran back to get the insulin she had forgotten on the train. But time was running out. The cruise liner, with hundreds of people screaming in panic, got closer and closer. Just before the ship crashed into the bridge, we managed to reach the end of it. When I turned around, I saw the passenger who had run back to the train throw the insulin to another just before he was engulfed by the collapsing steel. As the others and I watched the catastrophe unfold, I held the girl tight as the bridge and the train slowly sank into the water..."
